They say it isn't in "traditional Beta" any more. Only due to the fact, that they don't have serverpower to sustain such a huge demand, they haven't made the game available for free for everyone yet. You can prolly snatch a key off of facebook, thousands get handed out every afaik. You can also buy access to the game if you have the resources. So it pretty much is out.
